It's Smallworld after all!

Smallworld May 2015
This awesome conscientious wind and solar powered festival takes place in Kent twice a year, in May and August. It is put together by the people who bring the Smallworld Solar Stage to larger festivals like Glastonbury, Buddhafield, and Secret Garden Party.

This May at Smallworld I did some spray paint art workshops and painted a few other things (if they stayed still long enough).

Smallworld festival

Well this was an experience! I headed off to the Kent countryside armed with a van full of paint, materials and a gazeebo.

Small World solar stage festival is unreal. It uses as much electric from the grid as a kettle! Words fail me.

I'll be back!

Art In The City

On Wednesday I found a car parked on Lemon Quay in Truro. I happened to have a few cans of paint on me so...

Art in The City festival continues until Sunday 15th April.

Glastonbury 2011

The difference between being a visual artist at a festival and playing music is that a visual artist might be leaving before the fun starts!

The day before Glastonbury Festival 2011 opened. I was in and out of there like a flash!
I threw paint at everything I saw, got told off for graffiti-ing (a skull) in the "graffiti area", Shangri-La, too early, and was back in the sea in Cornwall minutes before the festival, in Somerset, opened to the public.

Maybe I'll take some time off and enjoy the event next time?!

(They left my skull up, by the way.)
